Introduction to AI:

History:

AI was established as a specific field in 1956 by John McCarthy, but its theory was influenced by Alan Turing’s work in 1936 on problem solving machines. Between 1950 and 1970 early models and programs of AI were developed but the progress was slow due to limited computing power. In 1997, IBM’s Deep Blue defeated the world chess champion, and in 2011, IBM Watson won the quiz show “Jeopardy!” In 2016, AlphaGo defeated a top Go player, who paved the way for modern AI. Today AI has approached human level intelligence with the help of machine learning and neural networks and it is revolutionizing in the fields of health, education, robotics and others industries.

AI in everyday life:

AI is widely used in our everyday life like we can see it in smart phones, social media, online shopping and in health etc. Google assistants like Siri and Alexa works on our voice. In wide range of applications like Netflix, YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram shows content according to our choice and in many other things like google maps, fraud detecting, in smart watches AI plays an important role and makes our life more easy and effective everyday.

Impact of AI on jobs:

AI is making deep impression on jobs.It is replacing many jobs like factories, customer service and repetitive tasks like data entring. Side by side it is also creating new opportunities in Data science , Machine learning and software development etc. AI is also changing nature of jobs, allowing humans to focus on creative and decision making meanwhile AI will handle routine work.

Future of AI and ML is very bright as it brings a lot of changes in our life and various industries.Automation, Medical diagnosis, smart Robots and self deriving vehicles will be more improved while in Cyber security, Education and Business AI will be greatly beneficial.
